  I went here when I was a child. At first, it was nice. The bus picked me up for school and I had a place to go after until my mom could come and get me. But as time went on, I realized that not everything was as it appeared. The food was bad, and if often smelt like it had seen better days. The teachers were rude and condescending, often having favorites, and I was often accused of being a liar and a thief. I had many awful experiences in that place. Here are a few:
  
  1. In the mornings, I got the bus to school from there. To ensure that all the children got on the bus, the made sure that no one was left in the building by taking role call. Despite being clearly heard, they left me in the building and locked the door. I had to call the cops to get me out and was driven to school in a cruiser.
  
  2. I had a really hard time learning to read and write, and because of that I wrote very small to hide my poor grammar. I was once accused to lying about something and therefore had to write "I will not lie to the teachers" as many times as I could for three hours. I wrote small, and when the teacher came to check on me she grabbed my paper, crumpled it up, and demanded that I write larger.
  
  3. We were watching a movie, and there was a rule that only two girls were allowed out to the bathrooms at a time. I wasn't feeling very well and went to the teacher telling here that I was going to be sick and needed the bathroom. She said "No. Go sit back down and wait your turn." I ended up throwing up all over the floor and they got mad at me like it was all my fault.
  
  4. One time a girl tripped herself and clawed up my back really badly. Instead of cleaning up the cuts, they gave me a new shirt to put on and told me to go play.
  
  5. They often did a sleepover movie night. These nights were fun but not well planned. DURING the movie night they check everyone for lice, as opposed to BEFORE. Me any my sister got it from girls that we were sharing pillows with, but the teachers called my mother to come and get us and told her that I had given lice to other girls, even when I had almost NOTHING in my hair and the other girls hair was CRAWLING with adults and larva.
  
  6. The final straw was what they did to get me kicked out. Because I was one of the older children there, I often waited in the bathroom with the younger girls in case they needed help washing their hands (note that I was not the only one that did this). They had one of the girls lie, saying that I had pulled down her pants and touched her, so that they had grounds to kick me out.
  
  All in all, when I went here this place was awful, and I doubt that it has changed much. Please, for the love of your child, DO NOT send them here.
